Jennifer Lawrence has only been dating art dealer Cooke Maroney for a couple of months, but insiders are already saying that she is telling friends she has found “the one.” Could the Oscar winner be heading down the aisle soon?

“Jennifer is making plans for their future,” a source reveals. “She wants a big outdoor wedding and a big house with a stable and horses. She’s ready to settle down.”

According to Life & Style, a proposal is coming soon, but Maroney is keeping the details a secret. The insider says that he told Lawrence it would come when she least expects it, and he wants to take care of choosing the engagement ring, so she doesn’t need to hint at what she wants. The source adds that the only thing Maroney will say is that “she won’t be disappointed.
Apparently, the 28-year-old actress is just fine with Maroney keeping her in the dark because she loves his “take-charge” attitude, and the fact that he doesn’t treat her like a celebrity.

If Lawrence and Maroney do get married after just two months of dating, it would be on trend for celebrities this summer. Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, and Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin all got engaged after just a few weeks together.

Relationship expert Susan Winter says that there is a good reason why so many celebrities are getting engaged so quickly. She says that Millennials are clearly redefining the time frame for approaching engagement, and she sees a direct correlation between the demographic’s mindset in romance and in business. They are comfortable with risk-taking and “quick to pull the trigger” on inspiration. And, that means they don’t need engagements to be a lengthy process like past generations.

Last week, Lawrence and Maroney were on a European vacation together, and they enjoyed some time in Paris and Rome after celebrating her 28th birthday. Cameras caught the couple walking hand-in-hand while exploring Italy’s capital, and she wore a long, loose-fitting black dress, sunglasses, and a wide-brimmed sun hat in what appeared to be an attempt to remain incognito.

Maroney kept it casual with a white t-shirt, khakis, and mustard yellow Adidas sneakers.

The 33-year-old is the director of New York’s Gladstone 64 gallery which has many high-profile clients including Anish Kapoor, Richard Prince, and Lena Dunham’s father, Carroll. He studied art history at New York University and is part of the New York social scene.

Cooke Maroney and Lawrence’s mutual friend, Laura Simpson, reportedly help set them up. Before her relationship with Maroney, Jennifer Lawrence dated director Darren Aronofsky.
