Relationship expert Susan Winter offered her insights on the new romance between Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump, sharing whether the couple has what it takes to go the distance.
On Thursday, DailyMail.com exclusively reported that the golf legend and Trump have been dating since Thanksgiving, quickly earning the title of golf’s latest power couple.
Trump finalized her divorce from Donald Trump’s son, Don Jr., in 2018, while Woods was previously in a relationship with Erica Herman from 2017 to 2022.
Four sources confirmed to DailyMail.com that the two are officially together—but will their relationship stand the test of time?
The journalists write, “According to New York City-based relationship expert Susan Winter, this new relationship could be the real deal for both of them.
‘Tiger and Vanessa have a lot in common,’ Winter, the creator of the ‘Love À La Carte Method,’ told DailyMail.com exclusively.
‘Their children attend the same school, they share a passion for golf, and both are seasoned public figures capable of handling the pressures of paparazzi and a scrutinizing press,’ she said.
But what about high profile individuals living in the limelight? Could this add additional pressures to a newly formed relationship?
‘Celebrities and public figures must have a tremendous capacity for resilience in order to withstand the intrusion upon their personal lives,’ Winter said.
‘Both Tiger and Vanessa are well equipped for this journey,’ she added.
Winter also pointed out the fact that they’ve both been able navigate the public eye in years past.
‘Dating someone who can successfully navigate their way through the gossip columns and maintain their composure is a smart choice for ally and partner,’ Winter explained.
‘Their shared experience provides a unique foundation for a solid relationship to flourish— if all the other values and romantic goals align,’ she said.
